Prohibited Items Policy
Items and services that do not belong on Markit.

Always prohibited
Illegal, dangerous, regulated, stolen, counterfeit, adult, gambling-related, credential or account, malware, controlled-substance, weapon, and marketplace-automation listings are not allowed.
Financial and stored-value listings
Members are responsible for verifying lawful ownership and counterparties. Markit does not process, custody, escrow, convert, or settle funds. Listings involving third-party funds, laundering, evasion, carding, chargeback fraud, or unverifiable value are prohibited.
Tickets and digital goods
Ticket resale must follow local law and community rules. Do not list unverifiable access, transferred accounts, credentials, or goods that violate another platform’s terms.
Reports and enforcement
Eligible members can privately report listings. Community moderators and Markit operators may remove content, restrict access, preserve evidence, and cooperate with lawful requests.
When unsure
Do not publish the listing. Ask your community administrators before offering anything that may be restricted, licensed, age-sensitive, or regulated.
